This is not the same issue as having too much memory configured for a 32 bit client.
The above error message is received upon launching the client application from a gateway homepage button or desktop shortcut. The message may appear very quickly, even before the Java splash screen comes up. Because the error is generated so quickly you will not be able to use the Java console to view any stack trace of the event. The console will not launch. The Enhanced Mitigation Toolkit (EMET) is the root cause of the problem.
It has been found that the Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET) is the root cause of this problem. This software was released by Microsoft and you can find additional information about it here. The default settings of this application will prevent the client from launching. Uninstalling EMET will resolve this issue.
