Voice Notification Downloads for Ignition 7.7, 7.8, 8.X

This page provides links to download the Text-to-Speech (TTS) voices that are used by the Voice Notification module in Ignition. Various voices have been offered at different times, so special care must be taken to ensure that you get the correct voice for your license and version.

Once you have activated your gateway, you can view the license from the Gateway by going to Configure>System/Licensing. All of the voice licenses are in the form of “ia.voice.{voicename}”. Please download the matching voice name for the specific version of Ignition that you are using.

If you wish to use the demo mode to evaluate Ignition, please select from any of the current voices.

Note about “Legacy” voices

After being acquired, our original speech vendor terminated their embedded agreement with us (February 2016). Therefore, we are no longer able to offer these voices for purchase. However, all customers with existing licenses are able to continuing using these modules indefinitely, and the modules will continue to be made available for future versions of Ignition.

Voice Notification Module

In order to use the new voices, you must have at least version 7.8.2 or 7.7.8 of the Voice Notification Module (note: you do not necessarily need these versions of the Ignition Platform. In other words, you may install the 7.8.2 voice notification module in Ignition 7.8.1)
